It all started with a sign...

It all started with a sign, back in January 2009 at the Gators BCS National Championship in Miami.

 “We were lucky enough to have front row seats, on the Gator sidelines”, said Lori Evans, a UF Alum and owner of Titletown T’s.  “I wanted to make a sign so our kids, back at home, would see us on TV.  My husband was embarrassed, but I did it anyway.   We love Tim Tebow, so I came up with a clever little slogan and it was a big hit!  I had people taking pictures, Albert came and got the sign and they even put me on the Jumbo-Tron 3 times!  I Heart Tebow was a big hit!  On our way home, the next day, I decided to trademark it and form a small company. "

That’s when Titletown T’s was born.  Lori, an Interior Designer, worked over the next 8 months, trade marking, branding, finding suppliers, selling to wholesalers and starting a website.  The start of football season was her target deadline.  “Well, it’s definitely different than designing homes!  Now, instead of paint colors and blueprints, it’s shirt colors and website code.  It’s been fun learning along the way.”  Sales actually took her by surprise.  “I put a tiny little ad on Facebook, really just to see how it worked, and I sold out of my entire inventory in 48 hours!  I knew then I was on to something.  People love Tim Tebow.”

What does her husband think about the new venture?  “Well, I think it’s great,” said Philip Evans, owner of Evans Building and Design.  “I told her that this new venture could be a great success and it has been!”  Through local stores, her website and even out of town distributors, Lori has created a successful company in a very short period of time.  She plans to add new items, logos and color combinations every few weeks.  “I want to keep it fresh and interesting,” said Lori.  “Just like when I am designing houses, people want the next best thing and I want to give it to them!”

Now with Tim Tebow going to the pros, a new color combo has been born. I Heart Tebow is now available in navy blue and orange for Bronco fans.
